   • The value of using SPF creams is debatable. However we believe that almost everyone should consider using a small amount of "natural" SPF-15 on face and hands every morning, whether their skin is light or dark, and in all weather and seasons.
   • Large amounts of SPF cream may reduce some of the important benefits of sunlight. However, sun exposure is a primary factor for skin cancer and aging. Whenever sunlight is available, the face and hands may easily receive more than their share. Whereas on days when the sun fails to appear, then presumably no benefit can be lost by using an SPF cream.
   • Some studies imply that people who use SPF cream have more skin problems than people who do not. However such conclusions might obviously be misleading. People typically use SPF cream for excessive sunbathing. Also people typically do not use non-chemical SPF creams.
   • It is important to make extra efforts to receive sunlight in winter weather, and also year-round if you work indoors. This is done by sitting in a sunny window, or by walking outdoors while wearing very lightweight clothing.
